New arrangement! The Legend of Zelda: Song of Time and Song of Storms 10

This week marked the 30th Anniversary of the Legend of Zelda video game series. In honor of that milestone (and because I got a ton of requests for more Zelda music!), I decided to arrange two of my favorite tunes from Ocarina of Time: “Song of Time” (aka Temple of Time) and “Song of Storms.”

“Song of Time” in particular was a fun theme to arrange because it appeared simply as a melody in the game. That allowed me to play around with different harmonies that I felt complimented the melody well.

I can’t get over how amazing Zelda music sounds on the guitar! I never had a chance to play the Ocarina of Time game, but I’m certainly loving the music.

Whether you’re a Zelda fan or not, you can’t deny that the series has some great music!

If I was able to get the rights to publish this arrangement, would you learn it? Let me know in the comments!

Thank you, Brandon! Unfortunately, I probably won’t be able to publish that arrangement for a while. Nintendo is very protective of their music, so I’ll have to wait until my community on this site and Youtube grows some significantly so I can prove to them that there’s demand for the sheet music. Hang in there, I’m very confident that I’ll be able to publish it in the future!

I checked out some of your videos, great stuff! I’m thrilled to have guitarists of your caliber in my community!

I understand completely, the way that I’ve learned songs is watching others play repeatedly and adding a few twists of course! Thanks for the lovely comment ! Might I ask what the tuning is?

Thank you for the kind words! Unfortunately, Nintendo doesn’t take any requests to license these arrangements, so I don’t know when I’ll be able to publish the tabs… In the meantime, I may do a LIVE tutorial on if there enough demand. So you can follow me there if you’re interested in that (
